  • All of our staff are of the highest standard, are fully qualified or working towards a qualification and are vetted thoroughly via references, Disclosure Scotland and Scottish Social Services Council checks.


  • Our staff are selected very carefully and we only employ enthusiastic and caring people who have an abundance of energy and commitment to the well being and development of children.

 

  • Each staff member has a high standard of care ensuring all our policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.  Most of our staff are qualified in First Aid and Food Hygiene and have achieved recognised certificates for both.

 

To ensure the highest standard of care and attention for the children, child ratios are set by our governing body, The Care Commission, as follows:

  • Children aged up to 2 years old – Every 3 children are cared for by 1 adult (1:3)
  • Children aged 2 to 3 years old – Every 5 children are cared for by 1 adult (1:5)
  • Children aged 3 to 5 years old – Every 8 children are cared for by 1 adult (1:8)

 

We believe that children’s happiness and safety comes first, last and always. It is each staff member’s responsibility to make this a reality.
